History and Achievements of Master Beverly Hills Hair Stylist Mogi
haircut
I created the video and talked with student Teresa about hair cutting practices
There are many methods of cutting hair
First
Because it is handwork, we exercise the
fingers & hands to move freely in order to cut the hair
Hold the scissors the proper way
Second
Body movement is circular motion, haircut is a straight line.
It is necessary to train the movement of the body that changes
circular motion into linear motion.
Third
In the haircut,
It is necessary to completely understand and memorize the order of the haircut
Therefore
Haircut Practice
Visualize cut 100 times
Verbal Explanation 100 times
Body, Foot position 100 times
Cutting Motion only 100 times
Haircut on wig 10 times
You will be able to understand how to cut hair by doing it this way
Fourth
When you cut the customer
Customer wants to improve the hairstyle at that moment.
Creative haircut is what the stylist wants to do, not the customer
If you can always cut the customers favorite haircut ,
you will always be the best hair cutter
Various students and stylists talk about and praise Mogi’s classes and Hair Curtting Technique

Since then, the industry has evolved into developing different techniques and different instruments to create a specific look to control and define the hair.
For instance,
some different techniques used are:
stroke cut, slice cut, razor cut, razor sculpture, and hair volume control, just to name a few.
Now to use those techniques, the stylist has to study, practice, and hone their skills to achieve the desired result.
Some people don’t comprehend that haircuts must be priced at different price points.
They still stick to the archaic belief that haircuts should all have the same standard price, with no discrepancies in price.
Vidal Sassoon changed the beauty industry in another manner by pricing the haircuts by the level of skill the stylist has achieved.
For instance, a haircut with an apprentice would cost differently than with a master cutter.
So, the price of the haircut would vary, depending on the skill level of the stylist.
At the same time, the stylist would charge the same price across the board, without any price changes in the techniques that were used. For example, when we do hair color, the price would vary depending on the techniques and colors used. I think this concept should carry over in haircuts as well.
